Chocolate Cookies

One of my favorites are chocolates. And since my husband bought a dark chocolates, I decided to try making this chocolate cookies. Here are the ingredients.



150g butter
150g of flour
150 grams of ground hazelnuts
2 tablespoons cocoa
150 g sugar
100 grams of dark chocolate

1. Cut butter into pieces and let it soften slightly . Work it with flour, hazelnuts, cocoa and sugar in order to obtain a firm dough.
2. Roll it in 3-4 cm in diameter and cut into slices between the palms of the hands and formed balls.
3. Arrange balls of dough on a pan covered with paper baking. Infornatele to 170 ° C for 15 minutes.
4. Cool cookies, then together, two by two, stuffed with some 'chocolate fondant dissolved in water bath. Before serving let harden chocolate.

Shrimp Fritters

I like shrimp very much. And as a matter of fact, I like cooking it in a very easy way. And one of the recipes that I'm doing everytime my husband bought a shrimp is the shrimp fritters.



Here are the ingredients:

500 g shrimp
3 eggs
flour q.b.
olive oil
salt

1. Wash and shelled shrimps.
2. In a bowl, batter the 2 whole eggs plus 1 egg yolk. Then add the flour until you get a mixture of medium density. Add salt and the remaining egg white (mounted on the snow).
3. In a pan, bring to boil the olive oil then if it's already hot put the shrimp. Then put 2 tablespoons of the mixture, entire the shrimp.
4. Cook the shrimp on both sides. And if the color is golden, remove it from the fire and dry it well and serve.

Banana Nut Bread

Since we have a lot of bananas, I decided to bake a Banana Nut Bread. And I decided to follow the recipe of Manang Lisa about her Brown Sugar Banana Nut Bread. But since we have no walnuts or pecans I decided to put peanuts instead. And I can say that Manang Lisa's recipe was really good. And if you want, you can try this one.




Ingredients: (that I used)

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
3 small pack of vanilla extract
4 riped bananas, mashed
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped peanuts





Directions:

1. Preheat oven 170 degrees (in a ventilated oven). Lightly grease the pan.
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter & sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time. Beat well. Stir in vanilla and banana.
3. In a separate bowl, blend the flour,baking powder and salt.
4. Then blend the banana mixture into the flour mixture. Stir just to combine. Fold in peanuts. Pour into prepared pan.
5. Baked for 1 hour.

Mixed Fruit Shake

Right now, I want to share with you how to make a good fruit shake. So, if you want to make your own fruit shake during summer, just follow this ingredients.

Good for 4 people

600g of mixed fruit in season
2 lemons
150 g sugar
1 small glass of whiskey
crushed ice q.b.


1. Washed and peeled fruit you have chosen depending on the season.
2. Squeeze lemons obtains the juice into a cup.
3. Then cut into pieces all fruit and place in the glass of blender.
4. Add a shot of whiskey, all that sugar, lemon juice (which you prepared) and blend for a few minutes.
5. Put in a jug together with the ice crushed and then after that the Mixed Fruit Shake is ready to be served.

Our Fruit Stand


Me and my husband also my mother in-law loves to eat fruits so much. So everytime, we are going to the supermarket we didn't forget to buy different kinds of fruit.
We usually eat fruits after we finished eating the main dish.

Tinolang Baboy o Sinigang na Baboy

Since we have a sinigang mix which I bought when I went to Rome, I decided to cook Tinolang Baboy. Well, it's my first time to cook it. And I'm happy because the outcome was good.



Ingredients:

meat
3 carrots
3 potatoes
9 leaves of chinese cabbage
Sinigang mix
onion
garlic
salt

Instructions:
1. Wash carrots, potatoes, cabbage and meat. Cut them into small pieces also the onions.
2. Put water in the pan together with the meat,onions and garlic. Add a little salt in it.
3. Be sure that the meat is a little cooked and put the carrots,followed by potatoes and cabbage.
( If you want you can add also a knorr cubes to enhance the taste of it.)
4. Then 10 minutes before you will going to turn off the heat, put the sinigang mix.
5. Serve with rice.

Apple Pie

My husband bought one box of apples last week. That's why I decided to try baking an Apple Pie. And I prepared it together with my mother in-law.

And here's the ingredients:

Good for 4 persons:

1kg of yellow apples
2 eggs
100g of flour
100 g sugar
100 g of amaretti (crumble)
100 g of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon milk
1 / 2 sachet of yeast cake

1. Peel apples and cut into small pieces. Add dissolved butter or margarine and all the other ingredients except the amaretti.
2. Put the mixture in a rectangular low pan, and spread evenly over the surface the amaretti crumbs.
3. Put in the oven, preheated to 200 ° C, and leave for 1 hour.
4. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
