Besciamella Sauce Or White Sauce

If my husband is making a lasagna, he prepares the besciamella. Of course, there are besciamella available in the market but he prefers to do it. And here are the ingredients that he is using in making besciamella.

60 gr. butter
50 gr. sifted flour
Half spoonful of chopped onion fine
1 / 2 liters of boiled hot milk
5 gr. salt
A pepper and nutmeg
1 bunch of thyme and laurel

Directions:

Cook the onion in the butter without browning it. Add the flour and stir for few seconds. Then, add the milk, salt, pepper, thyme, nutmeg and laurel. Make it boil and steam it for 15 minutes. Continue stirring. Drain at the end.
